The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, but they were a little smaller than what I am used to, making it a bit tight for us with our huge luggages. The service, including the guard, was awesome, very friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect with Muni and Bart stops right outside, though a bit sketchier than expected. The dining area was still in renovation, and the facilities provided were good.

The hotel has some positives like easy TV connection for Netflix but lacks adequate lighting in the rooms. It was disappointing to be charged an extra $40 per night, and the room size was too small for us with large luggage. The service was comfortable despite a mistake in not admitting fault for which refund was denied. The location, though convenient in downtown SF, felt unsafe due to social and drug issues. The dining area was under renovation, impacting the experience. Overall, there were mixed feelings about the stay.

This hotel provided a nice stay with free tea and coffee in the rooms. However, the price for some amenities left me wanting more.
